frequently asked questions
WHEN IS SAVVY STARTING BACK?
We are HOPING TO START back FOR THE SUMMER TERM.
We are still hoping that Fairfield Halls will re-open so that we can then start back with all of our weekly groups.
Information about the Coronavirus world-wide crisis and its impact is constantly changing and we are conscious that this can be very unsettling for our members. SAVVY is not going anywhere, and as soon as we know more about what is happening, we will contact our members and partners with details on the upcoming term.
In the meantime, keep up-to-date with all of our #savvylockdown antics online by liking our Facebook page or following us on Twitter and Instagram.
WHAT IS HAPPENING ABOUT THE FEES?
SAVVY is a charity and receives no core funding for our work.
If you are in a position to donate the fees you paid to SAVVY for the sessions that were cancelled at the end of last term, we would be very grateful as any support for a small charity during this challenging time, makes a big difference.
However, we do understand not everyone is in a position to do this, so please do email us and we will happily arrange a refund.
WHEN WILL OUR SHOWS BE?
WE ARE currently looking at show dates.
We anticipate that even if we do come back during the summer, there will be a period of settling in and we will need time to process what we've all been going through. Therefore we are currently looking at our timetable and planned season of work, including when the shows will be, to make sure everyone feels prepared and ready to perform.
IS THE SAVVY SOCIAL STILL HAPPENING?
We will be hanging up a brand-new mirror ball and celebrating our return. A new date will be announced as soon as possible. I think we all need a MAJOR party!!
Our theatre company has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic but we want to continue our work with our most vulnerable members.
You can contribute today from as little as £5 – it only takes a minute. Thank you.
