frequently asked questions
WHEN IS SAVVY STARTING BACK?
We HAVE BEEN working closely with fairfield halls & can now confirm WILL BE back in the studio IN September 2020.
We will be contacting all of our members and partners with details on the upcoming term. In the meantime, you can download our updated policies by clicking the images below, and keep up-to-date with us online by liking our Facebook page or following us on Twitter and Instagram.
If I’m not ready to come back will I lose my place in the group?
NO you will not lose your place in the group.
If you were a member on our register when we went into lockdown in March 2020 we will hold your place until the Summer 2021 term.
I want to join, can I just come along to a session?
We don’t allow people to just ‘drop in’ and join in with a session.
If you want to join us, please call the office on 07391 997 030 (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We can then tell you if there’s space in the group you are interested in and will send you an application form and some more details on SAVVY.
If you would like to come and tour the space and discuss anything with us in person please get in touch so we can arrange a time for you to meet with someone from our Welcome Team.
I’m a former member can I come back?
i'M AFRAID NOT.
Due to high demand, we do not hold places in the group unless there are special circumstances and generally only for one term. In line with our Data Protection policies we do not hold details on members once they have stopped attending, therefore any past members wanting to come back will need to re-apply for a place.
Will we still be doing a show this Christmas?
We will definitely be doing something.
We had a busy summer working with all of our members online, developing ideas and skills for this year’s pantomime Jack & the Beanstalk.
Please see our What’s On page for more details on what will be coming up …
What if we go into lockdown again, what will happen to the show and sessions?
we've got it covered.
If lockdown happens again we will continue rehearsing via Zoom (we are all well-practised at accessing sessions online now)!
IS THE SAVVY SOCIAL STILL HAPPENING?
... but not until social distancing has finished and we can hang up a brand-new mirror ball and celebrate in style!
