frequently asked questions
WHEN IS SAVVY BACK?
OUR STUDIO IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COVID, BUT WE are working closely with BHLIVE & should be back at fairfield halls when the current LOCKDOWN IS OVER.
In the meantime, SAVVY is running our workshops and rehearsals on ZOOM as part of our ongoing Mixed Bean season and we will be contacting all of our members and partners with details of our return as soon as we have more information.
As always, you can contact us with any question and can keep up-to-date with all of our activity online via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
WHAT ARE YOUR SOCIAL DISTANCING POLICIES?
WE HAVE PUT STRINGENT SOCIAL DISTANCING AND CLEANING POLICIES IN PLACE FOR WHEN WE RETURN TO THE STUDIO.
Please click on the images below to download copies of our policies, revised Covid Code-of-Conduct and a full Risk Assessment outlining our measures for keeping members safe. We have also put together a short film showing our new policies for when we return to our studio.
If I’m not ready to come back will I lose my place in the group?
NO you will not lose your place in the group.
If you were a member on our register when we went into lockdown in March 2020 we will hold your place until September 2021.
I want to join, can I just come along to a session?
We don’t allow people to just ‘drop in’ and join in with a session.
If you want to join us, please call the office on 07391 997 030 (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We can then tell you if there’s space in the group you are interested in and will send you an application form and some more details on joining SAVVY.
If you would like to come and tour the space and discuss anything with us in person please get in touch so we can arrange a time for you to meet with someone from our Welcome Team.
I’m a former member can I JUST come back & join in?
i'M AFRAID NOT.
Due to high demand, we do not hold places in the group unless there are special circumstances and generally only for one term. In line with our Data Protection policies we do not hold details on members once they have stopped attending, therefore any past members wanting to come back will need to re-apply for a place.
I'm really interested in working with you. Do you have any vacancies?
we always advertise on our website & social media for any vacancies, including opportunities for freelance practitioners.
You can find more details here on volunteering and work experience placements.
IS THE SAVVY SOCIAL STILL HAPPENING?
... but not until social distancing has finished and we can hang up a brand-new mirror ball and celebrate in style!
