Action replay

Action Replay is a weekly drama groups for adults
with a learning disability.

Their shows range from original group-devised pieces to re-imaginings of classic works and they regularly work in partnership with other SAVVY groups and the wider community.

In 2011 their co-production of Romeo & Juliet with local teenagers became a National Children & Young People Now! Awards finalist and their recent production of Lost In Space was re-developed into a sensory workshop experience with Output Arts and years 3 - 5 pupils from the Oasis Academy Rylands.

As SAVVY is dedicated to an ensemble way of working, we aim to have no more than 20 participants in the group. (If
we don't have space, prospective members are able to join our waiting list and are given the chance to take part in
other workshop opportunities.)

In addition to their own show, members often support other SAVVY groups (both onstage and off-stage) and every year they take part in our annual Christmas show, that brings our entire company together.

When

Fridays, 11.30am – 1.30pm during term time.

Where

The SAVVY Studio
Fairfield Halls
Park Lane, Croydon, CR9 1DG

how much

Term fees are calculated at £7.00 per/session, and the full cost for each term is due on the first day or may be paid in two instalments. Failure to pay fees may result in loss of place in the group.

As an inclusive company it is important that we find the right group for participants to thrive in. It is also important that new members get to try out SAVVY without worrying about obligation - therefore new
members are able to join us for 2 weeks before the term fees are charged.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not want financial pressures to stop people from attending and want to remove any stigma or guilt attached to not being able to pay fees. SAVVY can offer support for anyone facing financial difficulties who wishes to attend our ongoing groups.

Want to join

SAVVY has a ‘no experience necessary’ policy for anyone wanting to take part.

There is no audition process to join us, just a commitment to weekly attendance, creating exciting theatre projects and having fun!
