JACK & THE BEANSTALK
WELCOME TO GIANT INC.
A large corporation is polluting the skies above with their industrialised nation, while the agricultural land below is suffering under the strain. Our Panto Dame is figuring out how to use the mechanical chicken that supposedly lays golden eggs and Milky White is looking to become an influencer on MooTube.
Christmas is not cancelled.
This year, SAVVY is producing a Socially Distanced, Steampunk Panto in the foyer of Fairfield Halls.
Combining traditional pantomime with a steampunk twist, audiences will be introduced to Jack, a young progressive torn between two worlds - the traditional farming community he lives in with Dame Trott, his mother, and the industrial world above he has heard so much about - with its new-fangled contraptions, impossible inventions and giant wealth!
In true SAVVY-style, this original pantomime will involve an inclusive community cast from across our diverse membership, including young people, adults with a learning disability, people with experience of homelessness and everyone in-between.
7.30pm, Friday 18th December 2020
