SAVVY is looking to expand our pool of freelance artists and is hosting a 3-day training event that is open to anyone keen to work with us in the future.
We are looking for early-mid career artists who:
want to further develop their skills as a facilitator and/or director
are keen to learn more about SAVVY's inclusive pedagogy
You must have a proven interest and some experience in facilitating and/or directing.
During the training event you will:
Practically explore SAVVY Theatre's inclusive methodology of working with people who have a variety of communication difficulties, disabilities and young people with SEMH needs.
Learn how we co-create and shape our shows to encourage ownership of the work and raise to ambitious levels of professionalism with community casts.
Have the opportunity to work alongside our Core Team as part of our weekly programme.

There will then be the opportunity to attend 2 further days throughout the Spring Term, working with members of our ongoing weekly groups.

If successful, we will ask for a copy of your current DBS and we may ask for references.
You will be paid a fee of £50 per/day for taking part in the training days, to cover general expenses.
