former
SAVVY Young Company Members
have gone onto study at drama and
dance colleges including Laines,
Central, East15 and RADA. A
number have performed in the West
End and with professional
companys both in theatre, film
& television. SAVVY
is also delighted to welcome back
many former members who return to
take part in the company's
programme of community work and
adult company projects.

is unique in the way that it
encouraged me to see performance
from so many different
perspectives, practically
allowing us to discover so many
different styles and disciplines.
Despite the fact that we
constantly had new members join
the company, and others leaving
to go to university, I always
felt really comfortable in the
group and felt that everybody's
input was valued which really
made so many of our
ensemble-based productions so
successful. For me SAVVY was the
perfect training for a career in
this field and when auditioning
for drama school earlier I was
given so much additional help
with audition technique and
advice about what to expect -
despite the fact that I'd left
the company 6 months before!
There's a real community attitude
towards everybody who has ever
been involved in any of the
company's projects which I
haven't experienced at any
