THE BUS STOP SCHOOLS PROJECT
SAVVY embarked on a seven week residency throughout Spring 2012, working in secondary schools across South Croydon.
Pupils from each school spent weekly sessions using Mask and Forum Theatre techniques to explore their own personal experiences and observations of travelling on public transport, in particular how to avoid potentially dangerous situations whilst being made aware of how their own behaviour may affect others around them.
This project was made possible by the Youth Localities Fund.

Praise for their home performances at the Charles Cryer Theatre:
Absolutely fantastic, well done all of you. Moved me to tears.

I just wanted to say how wonderful I thought the show was last night. They were excellent and it looked like they were total naturals on the stage, born to act!

Went to see Cloud Busting on Thursday and thought it was incredible! It had everything from great writing to brilliant acting, superb directing. From start to finish an A1 performance.

Loved Cloudbusting! VERY emotive - I had to refrain from jumping up and shouting out, STOP it, what you are doing is wrong!!! (to the bully I mean, of course!), great portrayal of a well written tale! Thank you, to you and your cast, I have not enjoyed a show that much since we saw Globe Theatre on Tour with Midsummer Nights Dream open air at Leeds Castle.
