The Exam
7.30pm, Saturday 25th November 2006
Charles Cryer Theatre, Carshalton

When first looking at this script, the discussion quickly turned to stereotypes. The questions that followed included, at what point do these stereotypes become offensive or no longer true and are they only funny because we have associations with them? This then asked the question of the cast - do we want to show the stereotypes BUT with thought into the person behind the image, or show these stereotypes AND show that they are recognised images for a reason?
Maybe it's up to the audience to decide?
